From Transactional to Experiential: Redesigning the Skills Proficiency Portal
How might we transform the portal from a transactional platform into a community-driven, experiential up-skilling platform that motivates users to actively engage in skill development and encourages continuous career growth
In this project, the goal was to evolve the product from a purely transactional platform into a more community-driven experience. By incorporating design elements that foster a sense of belonging and shared growth, we aimed to encourage users to engage more actively with skill-building opportunities.
Using the principles of nudge theory, we introduced subtle prompts and personalized recommendations to inspire users to take up more training, helping them progress in their careers. The result was a more engaging and intuitive platform that not only facilitated skill development but also nurtured a community of continuous learning and growth.
